St. Robert CHS will celebrate Catholic Education Week by holding school masses on Tuesday, May 2nd (for our grades 9 and 11 students) and Wednesday, May 3rd (for our grades 10 and 12 students).
On a daily basis we begin the day in prayer. During Catholic Education Week, members of our Liturgical Choir will sing the Gospel Acclamation and read from one of the Gospels.
Some of our students participating in creating a meaningful video that we hope to be released in the near future. The video was entered in a contest and speaks to Walking Forward Together, beautifully. Please look for it on our website by the end of the week.
A Prayer for Catholic Education
Creator God,
Nothing we do is complete. No one sermon says all that should be said.
No one prayer fully expresses our faith. No one reconciliation brings perfection.
No one program accomplishes the mission. No one set of goals and objectives includes everything.
That is what we are about, we plant seeds that one day will grow.
We water the seeds already planted knowing that they hold future promise.
We provide yeast that produces effects far beyond capabilities.
We cannot do everything. And yet, we must do something and do it very, very well.
And although it may be incomplete, it is a beginning, a step along the way, an opportunity for the Lord’s grace to enter and do the rest.
And although we may never see then end results, we remain workers, ministers, not Messiahs.
We are prophets of a future that is not our own.
Amen.
