Once again, this year we are proudly supporting The Terry Fox Foundation
in its ongoing work to fund innovative and progressive cancer research programs.
In the past 20 years our school has raised almost $400,000 towards this worthwhile cause. We’re asking for your support to continue the St. Robert
tradition. This year’s school goal is $15,000!
Please support our school by pledging a student or making a donation.
Your kindness will impact the lives of so many people living with cancer.
Each student was given a pledge form in their Homeroom. Students are
encouraged to collect pledges from family, friends and community members. As always, our entire school will be completing a 5 KM walk around our community during Period 1 to raise money for this very worthy cause.
PRIZES:
There will be prizes for the top students who bring in the most pledges school-wide:
1st place prize is valued at $100
2nd place prize is valued at $75
3rd place prize is valued at $50
A FREE CLASS BREAKFAST
A breakfast from Nella’s will be awarded to the homeroom with the most pledges. Students are encouraged to bring in as many pledges as they can by Friday, October 6th, for a chance to win some amazing prizes and help cure cancer at the same time!
WIN A FREE TURKEY:
Students will also have the option to register to RUN the route in the TURKEY TROT for the chance to win a free turkey. (4 Turkey Prizes: Junior/Senior Male & Junior/Senior Female)
Sign-up dates for the run are October 2 nd, 3rd, and 4th, outside the cafeteria during all three lunches. A $2 fee applies to enter the race.
Parents must give permission via School Day for students to participate. Please complete this as soon as possible.
