Council / Club Fair Wednesday, September 11, 2019

Welcome Back!

Presidents’ Council will be hosting a Council/Club Fair on Wednesday, September 11, 2019.  This will give councils and clubs the opportunity to entice new members and get grade 9 representatives to join their group.

All STR councils will be present at the fair in order to obtain student applications for grade representatives.

If you are a student leader of one of our clubs (no matter how big or small) and you’d like to showcase your club and its role in the school at the fair, I invite you to complete the following Google form:  https://forms.gle/T7y9AcgVDDjfT2cf9.  Please complete the form no later than Monday, Sept. 9 in order to be part of the fair on September 11.   If you do not meet this deadline, your club will not be able to attend the fair.

Also, please note that if you are planning on forming a new club for the 2019-2020 school year, our student government constitution clearly states that student leaders will only be allowed to do so in the first TWO(2) weeks of September and the first TWO (2) weeks of February (once each semester).

Attached is our new club proposal form.  If you intend on forming a new club for this year, please submit your proposal no later than Friday, September 13.  Proposals submitted past this deadline will NOT be accepted and will mean that your club cannot be formed.  Please submit your proposal either by email or in person to Mrs. Loffredi.
