It’s that time of year again . . . we are excited to announce that the St. Robert community will once again take part in the annual walk-a-thon in support of the Terry Fox Foundation. This year’s event will take place on two consecutive days, seeing the grade 9s and 10s walk on Thursday October 21st and the grade 11s and 12s walk on Friday, October 22nd.
Students will participate, via staggered class cohorts, in a brief walk within our surrounding neighbourhood. All students must return a permission form to participate and those forms are due this Wednesday October 20th! This event will not only allow us to come together as a community, but also raise funds for a very worthy cause. To date, the St. Robert community has participated in 18 events and raised almost $375,000 towards cancer research. We are honoured and blessed to be able to continue this tradition of giving.
